Columbarium Policy of
Bethany Presbyterian Church
Statesville, NC

1. The font used will be Condensed Modified Roman.
2. The color of the font will be natural.
3. All engraving must be approved by columbarium committee and the current Session.
4. All engraving will be done by Statesville Marble and Granite.
5. Cost of engraving is the responsibility of the family of the interred and will be paid to Statesville Marble and Granite.
6. Urns and containers are the responsibility of the family of the interred and must be approved by the columbarium committee and the current Session.
7. Only human remains shall be interred.
8. No artificial flowers or items shall be left on or near columbarium.
9. Only fresh flowers shall be placed on or near columbarium during interment ceremony. Fresh flowers may remain for seven days after which the committee asks they be removed promptly.
10. Cost of niche is $1000.00 for non-members. Cost is free for members of Bethany Presbyterian Church.
11. The niche is leased and remains the property of Bethany Presbyterian Church.
12. Remains to be removed by court order only.
13. If columbarium is damaged or modified intentionally, responsible party will be billed for cost of repairs.
14. All interment officiants must be approved by the Session.
15. Session will have final approval concerning columbarium policy.
